Measurements should be taken on bare skin and the tape measurer should feel conformable around your chest, waist or hips i.e., not too tight and not too loose. 

1. Chest – Measure around the bare chest horizontally at the fullest point
2. Waist – Measure around the bare waist at the smallest part, at or above the belly button
3. Hip – Measure around the bare hips at the widest point
4. Sleeve Length – Measure the distance from the end of the shoulder to the base of your thumb (without bending the arm)
5. Outside leg – For performance reason, biker pants have been designed to be worn higher than regular trousers. So you should measure the distance just below your waist right down the bottom of your feet. The trick here is that you shouldn’t bend to measure that one so you might need to ask a buddy
